Tee Time
Whether you're an occasional hacker with a wicked slice or a weekend warrior with a low handicap, there's nothing more exciting than watching the pros play. March 16-22, 2009, you'll have that opportunity as the PGA TOUR's Transitions Championship comes to the St. Petersburg/Clearwater area.
The tournament will take place at the renowned Copperhead Course at the Innisbrook Resort & Golf Club in Palm Harbor. This full-fledged FedEx Cup event was won by Sean O'Hair, the youngest competitor to ever triumph on the Copperhead course in 2008, and promises an exciting field for 2009. K.J. Choi is the only two-time winner with victories in 2002 and 2006. The tournament includes 144 PGA Tour golfers and will benefit over 150 local area charities.
