Suntan Saturday Art Mart The Only Year Round Fine Art Market On The Beach
Enjoy wandering around the only year round Fine Art Market with a beach front setting and beautiful views of the Gulf of Mexico. Feel the sea breeze as you visit local artists' booths, including one-of-a-kind paintings, photography, fused glass objects, metal art, wooden chairs, sculptures, knitted ribbon sweaters, jewelry for your ears to your feet, and much much more.
Located in the historic and laid back Pass-A-Grille area of St. Pete Beach, this beach community is believed to have gotten its name from 18th-century "grilleurs" who dried fish on its white sands. Pass-A-Grille is at the very southern end of the island, among a string of barrier islands that dot the Gulf. The white soft sand is never more than a block or so away in this quiet retreat.
Taking place every Saturday between 9am and 2pm, you will also be treated to music as you meander along the artist's fine wares. Take a break by sitting on the pristine white sand or dip your toes in the beckoning Gulf. You can easily spend an entire day here.
The Art Mart is located between 9th and 10th Avenues on Gulf Way next to the Seaside Grill and across the street form the well known Hurricane Restaurant, where sunsets are an institution.
