The Maritime Mysteries & Pirates of the Pass Ghost Tour at John's Pass opened in February 2005 featuring a knowledgeable, costumed guide who recounts true stories of the area's past and ghostly legends. The Ghost Tour includes stories about pirates and poineers, hermits and heroes, natives and conquerors, and even a few more recent local events. Tours are available three times per day all year round, except for Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Admission is $14 for adults and $10 for children 11 and under. Tours last one hour. Ghost Tours of Tampa Bay also plans to add a Haunted Halls & Horrifying Hermits tour in St. Pete Beach, a Gulfport Guys & Ghouls tour in nearby Gulfport and The Dark Side of the Sunshine City in St. Pete.
